PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how World Rush RPG (Also referred to as "Rush RPG") (hereinafter referred to as "the Game") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our Discord-based RPG game about traveling through dimensions.

2. Information We Collect

Discord ID and Username: We collect your public Discord ID and username to identify you within the Game.

Game Data: We monitor overall game state and game actions for balance, improvements, and bug tracking purposes.

3. Use of Information

Gameplay Monitoring: Your game actions are monitored to maintain game balance, improve the Game, and identify bugs.

Direct Messages: The Game Bot may send you DMs regarding gameplay status, but only while you are actively playing the Game. You can disable these DMs in the game options.

Top 10 Charts: If you are among the top players in a gameplay category, your username and progress may appear on the Top 10 game charts.

4. Anonymous Mode

Profile Visibility: By default, your profile is visible to other players via the /whois feature. You can enable 'anonymous mode' in the game options to hide your gameplay stats and 'last online' information.

Action Logs: In anonymous mode, your actions will not be logged into the public log channels.

5. Public Log Channels

Logged Actions: Some gameplay actions, such as combat results, events, and rare discoveries, are logged into a server's designated public log channels. If you are in anonymous mode, your name will not be displayed with these action logs.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. For this reason we greatly limit the data we collect or hold onto.

7. Data Retention

Player data is retained as a living part of the game's database, for the duration of the game's existance. A player may request the deletion of their data at any point. For more information, see clause [11. Rights of Player Data] of the Terms of Service. Backups of player data is performed daily. Backups are stored for 900 days before they are deleted.

8. 3rd Party Services & Hosting

Player interactions with the Game bot are first processed through Discord. Discord sends this data to the Game's Server Host. The Game bot will read and process only the user's 'Interaction Data', and the command name of that interaction. Interaction Data is defined as information sent by Discord informing the bot which command was used, and which channel and server that command was used in, so that the bot may respond to the user's interaction. No personal data is transmitted or stored by the server host or the Game bot.

World Rush RPG has no control over how Discord interacts with, stores, or transmits it's data related to a user's Discord account. For more information on this, please refer to Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and we will notify you of significant changes through Discord or other appropriate means.
